Advanced Dental Technology Green Bay

Raising the Bar for Tooth Replacement

Dental technology has evolved by leaps and bounds just like phones and computers, and Dr. O’Donoghue is committed to only using the latest techniques and instruments when helping his patients reclaim their smiles and oral health. We’re able to do some truly amazing things here, saving you time while keeping you comfortable and delivering the highest level of clinical care.

Advanced Implant Surgery

Our technology makes dental implant surgery as predictable, conservative, and successful as possible, providing both visual and haptic (physical) assistance during the procedure. Dr. O’Donoghue can reference a 3D scan of the patient's jaw in real time while placing an implant, and assists in positioning the post at the exact perfect angle and depth while avoiding the sinuses or facial nerves. This leads to faster healing, increased success, and a stronger replacement tooth that can be trusted to last.

Sedation Dentistry

Many patients feel a bit nervous about dental treatment, especially when it involves surgery such as extractions or implants. Your comfort is very important to us, which is why we provide a range of safe sedation options. These include an oral medication you take before your appointment, IV sedation for a deeper level of relaxation, and even general anesthesia so you can sleep comfortably through your procedure. During your consultation, we’ll go over each option and help you choose the one that makes your experience as calm and stress-free as possible.

3D Printer

Our 3D printer enables us to fabricate several appliances on-site, drastically reducing the turnaround time for several treatments. We use it to create custom temporary prosthetics and more in a fraction of the time compared to working with an outside lab. This capability also makes getting a replacement extremely convenient!

CT/Cone Beam Scanner

After making a quick spin around your head, our cone beam scanner captures multiple images and combines them into a highly detailed 3D model of your teeth, jaws, and surrounding structures. This advanced technology gives us far more information than a standard X-ray, allowing us to plan dental implant placement with precision and diagnose issues such as TMJ disorders with unmatched accuracy.

Digital Impressions

At the beginning of the process to create your custom full-arch restoration, we’ll take an impression to ensure it looks and fits perfectly. Rather than having you bite into a mold filled with messy dental putty, we now just scan the mouth. In minutes, a digital impression of your teeth and bite will appear on a chairside monitor. The device captures thousands of data points to do this. It’s more accurate than a physical model, leads to a more precise treatment plan, and can be paired with our 3D printer to create high-quality temporary prosthetics in relatively little time.

Photogrammetry

Photogrammetry with iCam is one of the most advanced technologies in full-arch implant dentistry. Instead of relying on traditional impressions, we use a specialized camera and small reference markers attached to the implants to capture a series of ultra-precise images. These images are combined into a highly accurate 3D model of your implants, which we share with our master lab technicians. The result is a restoration that fits perfectly, feels comfortable, and looks natural — all while reducing the number of adjustments and visits needed. Photogrammetry allows us to deliver full-arch teeth that are secure, functional, and beautiful with greater accuracy and efficiency than ever before.
